Digital Repeaters

On May 30, 2014, the final installation was complete on the DMR / Mototrbo repeater operating on 443.5875 MHz.  Thanks to Dave Meier (N4MW), Jay Lovelady (KD4BPZ), and the RATS technical committee for making this happen.

In November 2013, the 900 MHz P25 repeater was put on the air.

The RATS 900MHz repeater is on 927.0250 MHz.  It is a mixed mode repeater, that is, it can work in analog mode using 100Hz PL, or it can work in P25 digital mode using NAC $293.  The repeater output (after the duplexer) is 60 watts.  The antenna is fed by about 500 feet of 7/8 inch hardline.  The current antenna type is unknown.

The RATS MotoTrbo/DMR digital repeater is on 448.5875 MHz.  The repeater output (after the duplexer) is about 30 watts.  The antenna, a UHF Stationmaster, is fed by about 526 feet of 7/8 inch hardline.  This repeater is a part of the NCPRN network.  Check them out at: www.ncprn.net
