An ARRL Affiliated Club Serving Central Virginia Since 1972

Join or Renew ARRL Membership

When you join ARRL or renew your membership through RATS instead of going to ARRL directly, RATS receives a small one-time commission payment.  This is a benefit of our status as an ARRL Affiliated Club.  For each completed new member application processed through RATS, the club collects a one-time commission payment of $20.  For each renewal, we get $5.  Every little bit helps!

If you wish to join ARRL under a special rate (Family, Student, Blind, or Lifetime membership) please apply directly with ARRL.

If you are applying for (or renewing) an ARRL Standard membership, keep reading!

Application Procedures

You can download and print an ARRL membership application from this link.  No printer?  E-mail secretary@rats.net.  We have a few ways we can get a copy to you.  We also have copies of this form at all official RATS activities such as Winter and Summer Field Day.

Complete all required fields on the form and enclose payment.  Provide your credit card information at the bottom of the form or enclose a check payable to American Radio Relay League.  If you wish to pay with cash, give your ARRL membership application and payment to any member of the RATS Board of Directors at a club-sponsored activity.  Please do not send cash through the mail.

Mail the completed form and payment to us at the address below, or return to the RATS Treasurer personally.
