The 2024 Allianz Richmond Marathon on November 16th 2024 is our largest Richmond area event each year. Operating events as a volunteer is fun and a great way to serve the public, as well as to show our community what hams can do. It's also a good experience for anyone at all interested in emergency operating, as we follow net control protocols similar to what would go on in an emergency setting, as opposed to an average weekly discussion net.
