Membership Meeting - Special Ballot

  • 21 Sep 2018
  • 7:30 PM (UTC-04:00)

The General Membership meetings are held on the 3rd Friday night of each month, at the Richmond Volunteer Rescue Squad building, 1802 Chantilly Street, Richmond, VA.  RVRS is located behind the East Coast gas station/car wash and Wendy’s on West Broad, one block east of Staples Mill Road. Parking is available in the rear of the Wendy’s lot, adjacent to the alley. DO NOT block the front of the station!  Please enter through the rear of the building.  We meet in the training room in the back of the station.

Meetings begin at 7:30PM and usually last about an hour and a half. Programs are of general interest to the membership – easy on the club business, and heavy on the amateur radio fun! Presentations range from kit building, to antenna theory, to DX-pedition slideshows, to just about anything else that might make for good radio-themed entertainment.

You do not need to be a licensed ham to attend, nor do you need to be a member of the club – all are welcome! If there is an amateur radio subject for which you would like to see a program, or if you have an interest in a particular aspect of ham radio and you would be willing to make a presentation, contact us!
