RATS is offering a special weekend presentation on DMR Codeplug Programming to be held on Zoom, Saturday, August 24 at 2 PM. Your presenter will be Steve Crow KG4PEQ. This program builds on the DMR for Beginners presentation at our July 19 Membership Meeting and is an advanced offering targeting DMR users who want to get started making their own codeplug or modifying one of ours.
We'll look at the two main styles of programming software, common DMR terms related to programming, codeplug design considerations, frequently encountered problems, data entry shortcuts, and troubleshooting. Topics covered will apply to users of OEM Customer Programming Software (CPS) packages from a wide range of manufacturers, Baofeng to Motorola.
Program runtime is estimated at between 90 and 120 minutes, and there will be a short intermission about halfway through. There will be an opportunity for Q&A following the presentation.
This program is open to all licensed amateurs. You do not need to be a member of RATS to sign up or participate in this program. This program may be recorded for inclusion in the club's video library.
Registration is required.
