USPS delays impacting club renewals

3 Oct 2024 8:30 AM | Steven Crow (Administrator)

Local USPS delivery delays are impacting renewals for members who paid by mail.  We are seeing delays of up to 6 weeks for local letters addressed to the club's Post Office box.  If you renewed by mail, allow at least 6 to 8 weeks for delivery and processing.  Unfortunately, we are unable to mark a member as "paid" until dues are received by the club.

RATS moved to online membership management and electronic billing for club dues in 2018.  Online renewals offer a much faster, more secure way of paying dues, with the convenience of automatic renewals.  Nearly all of our members renew online and are not being impacted by USPS issues.

Renewals (online or by mail) are accepted beginning July 1 each year, three months before the end of the membership year.  If renewing by mail, we recommend paying extra early to avoid a lapse in membership.

Questions about your membership status or renewal may be sent to secretary@rats.net.
